Congratulations to FMNG member Mary Gabalski, the 2010 recipient of the Axel W. Carlson Award, presented annual to an unsung hero in Chautauqua County who's made significant contributions through their efforts, while neither receiving nor expecting reward or recognition.

 

The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation presents the award.

Holiday Donations

The Friday Morning Networking Group was pleased to donate $500.00 to the Salvation Army to assist with purchases from the Angel Tree this holiday season. The group also shared donations of a $100.00 each to Love Inc. and to the SPCA. 

In February, a $100.00 donation was given to Ron Cotton from Remember the 59 for markers at Soldier's Circle in Lakeview Cemetery.

On April 26th, the Friday Morning Networking Group participated in the walk for the March for Babies, otherwise known as the March of Dimes. The walk was 3.5 mile walk through Lakewood... Our group came in 2nd this year in fundraising with a total of $ 2080.00.

Thank you all who gave us donations.
