Holiday Donations

The Friday Morning Networking Group was pleased to donate $500.00 to the Salvation Army to assist with purchases from the Angel Tree this holiday season. The group also shared donations of a $100.00 each to Love Inc. and to the SPCA.

In February, a $100.00 donation was given to Ron Cotton from Remember the 59 for markers at Soldier's Circle in Lakeview Cemetery.

Album of the Month: Cold Beer on Hot Night

I have a weekly radio show on WRFA at 11 p.m. on Thursdays called Turn it On (taken from the Flaming Lips song of the same title).

Lately, I've just been putting together a playlist, merging all the songs together in a single file, and putting it on the air. Not a whole lot to it. But to change things up a bit, I've decided to do an "Album of the Month." On the first Thursday of each month, I'll play an album in it's entirety.

It's going to be an exciting week here in Jamestown and Lucy has nothing to do with it. A bunch of folks have teamed up to open a time capsule that was "buried" back in 1960.
